A note to remind everyone that the registration form for the Rochester Speedskating competition (10/16 thru 10/18) is now online. The competition is limited to 160 participants, and registration fills up very fast, so I suggest that anyone who is planning on going should register now.
Looking forward to seeing lots of Heights green skinsuits in Rochester! The more people that sign up, the better the chance that we can take home that great big team trophy they give out every year!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this years Skate-a-thon. It was a great way to end the season, and some of our skaters skated upwards of 200 laps! Wow!
Also, congratulations to Nick Elia for competing in his first ever national competition! We are so proud of you Nick! Hopefully, next year, you won’t be going alone!
Anyway, Al took this great photo at the Skate-a-thon and Barb asked me to post it. Enjoy!

WE HAVE THE RELAY TROPHY!!!
For the first time ever, Cleveland Heights has won a relay trophy at states in the Midget and Under category. Congratulations to Nick, Jacob, Tessie and Billy (and of course, Coach Nicole!!!) for all their hard work this year. Our kids sure knew what they were doing out there — they were a well oiled wheel.
And great job to everyone at states — everyone had at least one personal best, and we are so proud!
Pictures will be up shortly. Yay!

Hello everyone! I wanted to let you all know that pictures have finally been added from the Ohio Invitational/America’s Cup II competition. They aren’t the best quality – I have yet to figure out the focus and shutter options on the Nikon – but there are a few keepers
.
Also, if anyone has any good digital photos that they would like to add to the gallery, please email them to me!
Thanks!
