logo1The Cleveland Heights Speedskating Club (CHSS Club) was formed in the year 2001 and is part of the Ohio Speedskating Association (OSA).

Our club welcomes skaters of all ages and ability levels.  Our skaters include families, learn to skaters, local competitors and national level athletes.

No matter if your goal is recreation and fitness, Olympic gold or just plain fun, the Cleveland Heights Speedskating Club has something to offer you.

CHSS Club is a private organization comprised of elected officers by club members. Members volunteer to coach, repair equipment, organize and staff events.  Cleveland Heights Community Center hosts the club and National events on northeast Ohio’s only Olympic sized ice rink.

SKATER CLASSIFICATIONS:

LEARN TO SPEEDSKATE:  INTRODUCTORY  (1 ice session per week-Intro-Thursdays-fall & spring season)

RECREATIONAL CLUB:  NON-COMPETITIVE

COMPETITIVE CLUB:  LOCAL & STATE RACING

ADVANCED CLUB:  TRAVEL (REGIONAL & NATIONAL) RACING
